Around the same time last year, we had the opportunity of celebrating two very special occasions at SolarAfrica.
We celebrated our 10th birthday and to top it off, was the added bonus of reaching the 10 000 followers mark on our LinkedIn page. Whilst reflecting back on this significant achievement and how far our business has progressed over the years, this led to a very bold and brave statement, that went something along the lines of “next year, let’s aim for double, bring on the Big 20k!”
Starting the year with just over 10 500 followers, we most certainly had our doubts as we began to calculate exactly how many followers we needed to gain each month in order to reach this somewhat farfetched goal. But with some careful planning and consideration, a lot of hard work and a wonderfully ambitious team of people constantly reaching for the stars, we managed to accomplish this impressive goal and achieve ‘The Big 20k LinkedIn Milestone!’.
Having reached the 20 000 LinkedIn followers target a whole month sooner than expected was the cherry on top! We have so much to be grateful for as we look back on the past 365 days. This year most certainly had its challenges, filled with many highs and lows but at the end of it all, it’s important to reflect back, learn from the hardships and celebrate the successes that have brought us that much closer to achieving our goals.
We delivered 25 solar projects this year alone, taking our total number of projects delivered to over 135, not discounting the total tonnes of carbon emissions and Rands saved for all our customers across the board. We are thrilled about this achievement and the great work done this year. Thank you to our loyal customers, suppliers, partners, and dedicated SAE team for walking this sustainable green energy journey with us. We look forward to another successful year in 2023, with ambitious goals and a passion and pride that burns brightly.
