01. How can I get Wheeling for my business?

02. What are my contract options?
We offer Wheeling through different types of VPPAs with flexible tenures between 5 and 25 years.
03. Do I need to install anything to get Wheeling?
No, Wheeling is a fully offsite solution that doesn’t require any installation on your premises.
04. Are there any requirements to get Wheeling?
Currently we can wheel to medium-voltage connections that are greater than 1 MVA on a time-of-use-tariff. If you’re unsure about your connection, reach out to our energy experts who can help here.
05. How does the billing work?
You’ll still receive your monthly bill from your electricity provider. On this bill, you’ll see a credited amount for the wheeled power you consumed. You’ll also receive a monthly bill from SolarAfrica, for your Virtual Power Purchase Agreement.
06. I have multiple sites. Do I need multiple VPPAs?
No. You can sign one VPPA for your total consumption across all sites. The more your business grows, the more you can increase the total amount of power you need in your VPPA.
