We offer wheeling through a Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA) with flexible tenors between 10 and 25 years.
The great thing about VPPAs from SolarAfrica is flexibility and scalability. If, for instance, your business has multiple factories at different locations, you can sign one VPPA for your total consumption across all sites. The more your business grows, the more you can increase the total amount of power you need in your VPPA.
You’ll still receive your monthly bill from your electricity provider. On this bill, you’ll see a credited amount for the wheeled power you consumed. You’ll also receive a monthly bill from SolarAfrica, for your Virtual Power Purchase Agreement.
No, wheeling is a fully offsite solution that doesn’t require any installation on your premises. There might be municipal or provincial restrictions depending on where your site is located.
